There was an innocence in her eyes,

A passion in her voice,

Her smile extended across her entire face,

Her touch,

Once experienced you didn't want to let go,

A calmness surrounded her,

Her heart so gentle,

I was afraid the slightest thing could break it,


She was present yet somewhere else,

Her mind questioning,

A consuming dissatisfaction,

Peace she desired,

In chaotic unexpectedness,

She never masked how she felt,

Emotions always on the surface,

Pain, grief, sadness, joy, love, hope,

Were a part of her humanness,

Never a weakness,

There was no one like her,

Uniqueness embodied in her essence,

Always true to who she was,

Completely unapologetic.
